Studio – Zanzotti

ZANZOTTI is a design studio in Munich focused on product development.

The studio was founded in 2013 by Christian Zanzotti. It is located in Halle 6, a former machine shop in the creative quarter of Munich. The broad spectrum of work ranges from automotive and mobility to furniture, consumer goods and lifestyle products, and includes not only orders for international clients such as BMW, the Durst Group or UNU Motors, but also their own limited edition items. Additionally, routine in-house developments and design studies serve to explore the status quo in materials and manufacturing technologies, which in turn form the basis for cutting-edge product developments.

ZANZOTTIs work is a distinctive reflection of passion for technology, innovation, and materials, and is also characterized by careful analysis and experimentation. Formally, the designs are characterized by a consistent, clear austerity giving the aesthetic its own unmistakable identity that defies any design dictates.

In recent years, the studio has built up outstanding expertise in the development of hardware. The processes employed, in close cooperation with the client, range from strategic conception of product portfolio through product vision and development to networking and support of international producers. Meanwhile, the studio is leading the way in new mobility design.

Over the past few years, Zanzotti, who was already named Newcomer of the Year by the German Design Council in 2014, has received several international design awards for his work. These include:
